I have come to notice 3 holes over the right barn door of my '57 Panel that were filled in. Any thoughts on what they may have been for? I'm guessing maybe there was once a light mounted up there for police/ambulance/fire co. other?

What's odd is, they are only on the right side. Pics attached.

Is there limited access behind these holes? If so, could be holes left over from pulling a dent with a slide hammer.

Ooh, good callout! I did not even think of that.

I was looking at this pic that I have of a paddy wagon from the time, but no light on the back:

Your holes don’t appear to be concentric nor centered on on the rear.

Good points. I think you may have nailed it with the bodywork theory.
