Any body notice how much harder it is to find 3/4 ton specific new replacement parts? Yep, I'm one of the lucky ones that owns one of these beauties. So, I'm in the middle of rebuilding the brake system and have come across a problem, the brake adjusters have seen better days and I would like to replace them. however I have not been able to track new ones down. LMC, Eklers and Classic parts say theirs only fit the half ton, Napa, O'Rileys and Autozone don't carry it and I can't seem to get a response from Brothers truck. Don't suppose anybody out there has had any luck finding these? My next step is to start looking onto 60's and 70's 3/4 tons to see if they use the same one.

Hy 53&Me, Raybestos p/n H1500 is a manual adjusting screw assembly which fits 11" and 12" brakes, RockAuto sells it $4.81, hope that helps.

ok, I ordered the H1500 brake shoe adjuster....a couple things of differance, the slots the brakes slide into are wider on the H1500 and when the fully screwed together the H1500 is slightly shorter. With that being said, I'm gonna use them and see if the differances cause any issues.

I couldn't attach the picture to my reply for some reason but i did attach it to the original post. the original is on the left and the H1500 in on the right.
