Some after market sellers advertise 1947-54. In case this is ever a Jeopardy question. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2019 Posts: 251 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Aug 2019 Posts: 251 | I’m a newbie at this, so does that mean it was only sold on those models, but could fit the other years if the cowl, fenders, etc relation didn’t change? 1957 Chevy 3200Daily DriverPS, A/C, Tilt column, Rebuilt 350, Rebuilt TH350, Reupholstered Bench Seat, sound proof/insulated, LED headlights/taillights/backup lights/interior courtesy lights. Otherwise it would fit. Fenders and cowl were the same (as far as the hood interface goes) from 47-55.1 models.

Those holes are in the same spot. The difference is the earlier holes are recessed, whereas the '54/55.1 holes are flush. I believe that this difference does not interfere with attaching whatever year front badge you want to use on whatever year hood that you have. Throughout the AD years, there are holes differing in number and location for the side badges. I have a '49 truck with a '54 hood. It fits like a glove.
