does anyone have a suggestion for removing the windshield wiper arm without destroying it? I dot's see how to release the clip that holds it to the shaft. thanks Frank
Wonder if the wiper arms are similar to the 47-53 series? If so then it's pretty easy. Can't imagine it being too different. Squeeze the little tab upward and away from the post. While squeezed, you wiggle the housing of the wiper arm upward and off the post.

I hope you didn't pay the $30+ shipping that Wally World wanted to ship one of those $6 paint can openers to me. But I already have one. Probably got it for a buck at the paint store.

Looks just like the ones they give out free at the big box stores when you buy a gallon of paint. I must have a dozen of those “windshield wiper removal tools” around my shop.
Wonder if I could sell them for 6 bucks apiece? LOL!

$30 for freight? Wally says: free freight. Nevertheless, I have 2-3 of these which are older than dirt and have helped me opening paint cans and yes remove wiper arms.

If you go to the TCP Global website, they actually do offer free ground shipping, and you can buy a 5-pack of them for $9, which is more realistic.
I'll have to post up a pic of my windshield wiper removal tool that I built. But it won't work on my AD. It's just for the ones that have a nut on top.
[on edit] here's a pic of the tool I built to remove wiper arms that have a flip up cover with a nut underneath. Had some square tubing laying around and a nut and bolt.
