I have a ball joint press, so used that for bushing removal. But the allthread trick will work too. If they're really glued in there, even a propane torch to heat the metal surrounding the bushing will help break them loose (usually with a POW!)

If the threaded pin is frozen in the bushing, then you'll need to use a ball joint press or similar (BFH?)
