You can make your own from a few parts from the hardware store to remove and install the new ones. I did it on my ‘52 and it was fairly easy. Here is a link from a fellow ’bolters website (Pre ‘68 Dave), that shows the process.
That’s a great tip. I’m somewhat skeptical that will even be able to get the threaded pin out of the bushing, but if I do...I will definitely try that.
Should a guy put some sort of anti-seize on the OD of the new bushing?
