Hello all, Can you gents shed some light on my two harmonic balancers? The one from my 235 has "indentions" in the cover hole and a 5/8" wide pulley, and the one from my 261 has a round center and a 3/4" wide pulley. Any reason? Thx!

Hy NeptuneGreen55, without pictures it is hard to understand what you are describing. 261 engines were installed in larger trucks and if installed in one with air brakes it may have had a 3/4" wide belt to drive the air compressor and other accessories, just a guess on my part?

The one on the right is a car balancer, designed for a 3/8” belt. The one on the left is a truck balancer, designed for a 1/2” belt.
