The drivers side manifold has two holes in the front of the casting that I assume are for an alternator mount. Can anyone tell me what that mount looks like and what part number I need?

If you do a search for sbc short water pump alternator mount kit there will be a number of hits. Alan Grove has bare steel kits that are lower priced than the chrome/stainless/billet ones.

The bracket held the lower part of the alternator with an extension of the bracket attached to the (short) water pump. The adjustment bracket attached to the front of the intake similar to the one used on a 57. I think I have them somewhere.
