Looks like I may need to replace my rear cab mounts. I have a 1950 4400 , and I would like to know how much clearance between back of the cab and the frame? My cab is almost touching the frame, there might be enough clearance to slide a dollar bill under it.

Maybe something in this Chevrolet Specifications for Passenger Cars and Trucks manual might help you?

IIRC there are measurements in the Factory Assembly Manual. John

Correct. Per Section 1, Sheet 1.07, top of frame is 10" above the zero line, and top of floor is 11.88" above zero line.
Also Per Section 1, Sheet 3.12, the rear body mount shackle should be shimmed to "maintain -.76 +.06/-.0 Dim between floor panel and top of frame."
But if there's so little space, the rubber bushings in the body mount shackles are probably severely worn.

Can’t find a mounting kit for 4400 but I did find one for 3600 .Do any of guys know if they are the same?

The shackles and bushings are the same. The brackets are different for 3100, but the same for the bigger trucks, according to the Assembly Manual. If your shackles are still intact, you just need the rubber bushings, which are the same for all trucks.
