The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area The Electrical Bay Clock wiring

I have a 1986 Chevy half ton. I put in a clock that was an option, lower left corner of instrument panel. It has two spade connector terminals out the back, is one simply ground and the other 12 volts? Does it matter which wire goes where?

Check the colour of the wires I see in some pics on line that there is a orange and a black.If you have a truck Manuel the wiring diagram may show it also ,are the connectors the same colour wire as the clock

Thanks Kevin but the clock back has just two spade connectors, just the male ends, no wires.(similar to the back of a flasher unit)

One more picture for fuse panel spot number 70.Check under dash there may be the plug hiding wrapped up under there .
