I’m making the S10 swap. The donor is a 2002 S10 4.3 l, AT. I am using the S10 factory harnesses. I removed all body control module circuits. I will use a dash mount ignition switch, but I don’t know which hot battery line to connect to the BAT terminal on the aftermarket ignition switch. The s10 starting circuit shows a hot wire from the IGN C fuse block to the ignition switch. The IGN A appears to be in the overall circuit too (Attachment 1).

But, the power distribution schematics looks different. Attachment 2 shows only IGN A as the hot wire.

Attachment 3 shows hot wires IGN C and IGN B going to the ignition switch. I believe IGN B circuit powers optional equipment, so I think this is irrelevant for me.

Do I connect both IGN C and A to BAT at ignition switch? Or do I follow Attachment 1 and use IGN C as the ignition hot wire?
