1) Question, I put LEDs in my dash, is that a problem? They light up but aren't near as bright as I was expecting them to be 2) Put in a new turn signal switch, the turn signal comes on but it doesn't flash on and off, these are LEDs also, this could be the problem why they aren't flashing, just haven't checked that yet 3) Added a cigarette lighter, just trying to figure out where to get the power for it, I'm guessing that I should fuse it also 4) My license plate light isn't working, but I'm guessing that's a minor issue
Sure hope to be on the road soon, I've just hit and missed on this rewire and took my time, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel

Turn signal not flashing could be a few things, a common one is that some kits don't come with a flasher unit, if the system is wired without one you will have solid lights. I would fuse the lighter but the one in my truck is not fused and that looks factory. For the license plate light I would check grounds first.

2-prong and 3-prong flashers - positive ground (GMC) or negative ground (Chevrolet).
If interested, do an Internet search. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2020 Posts: 71 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2020 Posts: 71 | Thanks for the input guys. My system is 12v. I did buy a more powerful flasher can, but it didn't seem to fix the problem. Do I have to have one in both the Turn Signal flasher and the hazard flasher? The hazard flasher still has the normal can in it.
