I want to keep both the dash mount key location and the push button start functional. The donor is a 2002 S10 4.3l, AT. I know it’s likely an easy task and I have the S10 wiring diagrams. I just can’t wrap my mind around it. Can anyone offer suggestions?

Hook a hot wire from the ign. switch to 1 term. Hook the purple wire to the other term & run it to the neutral safety switch. The other side of the NS switch goes to the s term on the starter selenoid.
