Help! Now that my 1.5 Ton will go 65mph, I need to STOP the thing.
My 46 did not come with a brake booster.
Can I get one from NAPA? see link:

http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ExecMacro/NAPAonline/search_results_kw.d2w/report?CATALOG=&org_string=brake%20booster&search_string=Power%20Brake%20Booster%20-%20H/D%2 0Truck&MAKE_ID=&MODEL_ID=&YEAR_ID=&ENG_ID=&ENG_VIN_ID=&SUBMODEL_ID=&BODY_STYLE_ID=&TRANSMISSION_ID=&BRAKE_SYSTEM_ID=&DRIVE_TRAIN_ID=&ENG_ASP_ID=&ENG_FUEL_DELIV_ID=&ENG_FUEL_ID=&STE ERING_ID=&SUSPENSION_ID=&lookup=NONAPP&sort_flag=&START=1

. . . uh . . . dang, you might want to copy and paste this one.

Anyway, there are SEVERAL choices with the "4th Series" under H/D, (heavy duty??)
Seems most are for the line size for the 'plumbing'.

Can I put one of these on my truck? Even though it did not originally come with one? Any inherent problems with this? etc.
Which one should I start with??? frown

Tony - Got it.

Try: http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ExecMacro/NAPAonline/homepage.d2w/report

and then: top left corner, under CHANGE VEHICLE put 46 and Chevrolet Truck and any 216 engine.

Then you will see the choices.

And I am interested. Just leaving work and posting real quick until I get home.

Tony -
The 11" Diameter will not work. I measured this morning and even though it is going under the truck on the frame rail, there is not enough room without moving the exhaust and bracket.
I need an 8" Diameter Booster, perhaps.
Thanks anyway - Timmer
