Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!
| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | | Anonymous Unregistered | | Anonymous Unregistered | Went to an auction Saturday near Frankfort IN. Here are some results:
1954 6400 flatbed & hoist $1500 1954 6400 grain bed and hoist $1800 (I think) 1939 Chevy 3/4 or 1 ton restored $7400 1928 Chevy 1 ton $4200
Same buyer took both 6400's. Should have asked him if he wanted a 1952 vintage for the same money.
Thanks for the input on the insurance thing. I think I have found a solution with the local Allstate agent. He even gave me a better deal on my homeowner's insurance. | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 477 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2001 Posts: 477 | have you seen the brown 1 1/2 ton chevy that sits in frankfort by the railroad tracks that cross 28 on the west end of town? i don't remember the name of the street, but it's sitting in a lot that was a convience store and check cashing place that is now a car lot. at any rate, the old truck has been sitting for a long time. and i have thought about trying to find the owner.
good to see you are still around. i'm still on the lookout for some tires for you, but i got slowed down by surgery and can't drive for at least another month. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 37 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 37 | Just curious how did you do on the insurance did you have to get comercial or what are the limitations
