Hello all 1954 chevy 3100 . My question is on the parking Brake .Each side on the parking brake cables in front of rear tire there is a clevis that threads on to the brake cable Question is are those clevis different length > I am a little short again .THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!
Yes, I had a similar experience with my ‘52. One side was shorter than the other. The original is longer than the replacements that are available from the vendors. I did however get my short/long combination to temporarily work by adjusting the rod that goes up front. I have since got an original replacement.
My suggestion to you is to post in the “Truck “Parts Wanted” forum as that is how I got my original clevis.
