Funnyest thing i'm doing a ford rolling chassie, dodge power plant, and a GM cab. . .
my project:
F450/550 4x4 60" CA chassie, 5.9L/6.7L cummins/w 6spd manual trans,and 60-66 GM cab/w 7FT flat bed. . . Tire size not sure yet. . .245/70R19.5 or 265/70R19.5 depending what tread is available i like mudder's. . .

the 225slant 6 would an ok engine not alot of power but if you deck the block and mill the head you can get 10.2:1 compression than put a 500 CFM holley 2 barrel carb on it, and open the exhaust up run say a 3" single pipe or 2-1/4" to 3" Dual exhaust. . . I don't remember if P.A.W offered a header for those or not but you can make them easy enough. . . I would put a granny 5spd behind the 225SL-6 than and run a 3.73 gear with 31x10.50R15 in rear and 30x9.50R15 in front for tire's. . .
that's how i would set it up. . . truck should have plenty of gut's and not burn a lot of gas. . .
if you don't drive the interstate a lot or ain't too worried about gas milage I would use 4.56 gear's truck will be all wound up at 75-80 MPH but it'll get there super quick. . . fromt stop light to stop light you will out muscle most
