OK, before everyone tells me that I've spelled 'Colours' incorrectly, that's proper Queens English spelling up here in Canada Eh!

I've had the front fender and hood emblems re-chromed. I recall that there were some accent colours as well, but don't remember where. As a quick method, I used some red 3M reflector tape for the front hood bow tie.
Does anyone have pictures of what the correct colours should be on the front fender and hood emblems?

As an aside, during the re-chroming, the driver side emblem letter 'E' from Apache broke off and got lost in the plating tank. I fabricated a new letter 'E' from some 3/16" Stainless and JB welded it to the rest of the chrome strip, and used some foam double sided mounting tape to stick it to the fender. Unless you are real close, you can't tell the difference.

GM used to show the colors (or colours, which the spell checker flags wink ) for emblems on the Vehicle Information kits, but apparently didn't do that for '58. Anyway, here's the Vehicle Information Kit for your year.

Thanks Kevin.
I scanned document, and didn't find anything about paint colours of the emblems.
Hopefully someone has a photo to share.
