Question- I have a '66 C10 with a '74 I6 250. I'm in the middle of a rewire, using American Autowire #500560 Classic upgrade kit. I'm converting from my original dash cluster with idiot lights to an OEM cluster with gauges. My question is this, will I need to run an oil pressure line in order to get that gauge to work, or will it work electronically?

If you have an electric sending unit that is compatible with your electronic gauge it will work just fine.

OK, but I guess that's my question, is there some sort of electronic attachment I can place on my cluster? All I see for oil pressure is the mechanical line input.

Does OEM mean you bought a donor gauge cluster from a 66 Chevy truck? I assume you do not know if your gauge is electrical (wire terminal on the back or mechanical (a tube attached in the back). What does OEM mean to you?
If you have a 66 cluster and a 74 motor, it may be hard to match an original electrical gauge to 74 sender. You would use a sender for the 66 gauge. A mechanical gauge does not care what motor it is in, so no problem there.
This situation (66/74 mismatch) can also occur with temperature gauge/sender.
I see you posted while I was typing. Looks like you have a donor cluster with a mechanical gauge. Just buy a tube kit and install. There is NO adapter to turn the mechanical gauge to an electric gauge.

Bartamos, The cluster is a donor, it is original equipment. It only has the oil line input, see attached pic above.
That was my problem I guess, I was searching for a mechanical sending unit for a '74 motor and not finding anything. So I should have no problem plugging in a '66 mechanical sending unit into my block? That's what I guess I need to know.
Thanks

Did the same thing on my '62. I was using a 1967 250 at the time. hen I changed to the 1967 327, same set up worked. Same thing when I went to the 1963 327. Just ran the plumbing from the block to the gauge.
You'll be happier with gauges instead of idiot lights. I know I am.

Unfortunately just buying a tube kit didn't get the job done. Looks like I'm going to have to buy an adapter to add to this to get it to work. The kit came with a male fitting that will fit into the female fitting on the cluster, but then it doesn't have any fitting that will fit into that. bummer
