Got the truck back from having all new brake lines put on. First time I've been able to drive the truck at any speed and definitely first time in fourth gear. When it got there, the clutch started slipping. Bad. I wasn't going to dog it but I didn't feel any slipping in gears 1-3. Any suggestions. Place to start? Cheers!
Ben

Clutches always start slipping in higher gears since more torque is required in a higher gear.
Easy to do.

Is that typical? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 4,483 AD Addict & Tinkerer | | AD Addict & Tinkerer Joined: Feb 2019 Posts: 4,483 | The clutch pedal in my 3100 is not hard to push but I would not say mushy. You didn’t answer my question. Do you have free play in the pedal? That must be answered before we can go further.

Your foot can't detect it very accurately.
