I need to rebuild the fuel pump on my 48Chevy Truck (216). I received a rebuild kit for Jim Carter. Can anybody point me in the right direction for a schematic drawing so I will have a backup as I have not done this before.

If the kit didn't come with an instruction sheet then you should contact Jim Carter for accurate information.
They may direct you to a video or technical help on their website.

Other info:
Stock Chevy pumps will have been made by AC Delco but you may have an over-the-counter pump like those made by Carter.
Old pump kits may not be compatible with todays ethanol gasoline.

This link is for ideas how a pump can be disassembled:
https://www.1949chevy.com/fuel-pump/

Note there is no picture of the pump arm removed.
It is held in place by a pin.
If I remember correctly, the pump arm spring is strong.
Reassembly takes some effort.
Locktite on pin to keep in place.
