Does anyone know the part number for king pins for a 1956 6400? I have gone through the search, and have been all over the net, but I can't seem to find any real OEM numbers or cross reference numbers. Thanks!

Pretty easy if one disassembles and searches by dimension. Easy to have made if dimensions in hand.

Do you know that yours are bad?

The king pin chevy part number is 3854744. This number is for a king pin replacement kit and includes all the parts for both sides of the axle

Thanks for the replies! The current king pins are not terrible, but there is some play in them. I don't think that they are loose enough to cause issues, but we are just planning ahead. 40 years ago I was a school bus mechanic for a fleet of about 100 busses. , I changed lots of them Bach then. Incidentally, our wrecker was a 1964 C-60, so this truck seems like old times
