However, you need to realize that you'll also have to lower the rear unless you want the truck to "lean" forward. Patrick's sells a lowering kit that includes the front springs plus lowering blocks, shackles and shocks for the rear for $500. They're not much for web presence , but they know AD trucks inside and out, and they're good people who can be trusted. (Not saying that Brothers can't be.) | | | | | Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 769 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2000 Posts: 769 | I posted Brothers as an example of cost, not necessarily as a vender. They are close to where I live so I have purchased parts from them and they seem to be OK. Most venders that have custom parts for these trucks carry these springs. I got a set of mono leaf springs from my local spring shop. They also had the shackle kits on the shelf. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,464 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 1,464 | I've got a set of "mono's" on the front of my AD. I've never been real happy with the ride quality (too stiff). I talked to Patrick awhile back and he said he was going to stop selling them and go with a multi-leaf lowered spring. I'd take a look at Posie's twin-leaf set-up if I had to do it all over again. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 15 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 15 | | | |
