Swapped the froze up 216 for a 235 out of a 55 belair. New water pump, electric fan, starter, voltage regulator, radiator, 3 fenders, grille, tailgate, and on and on. Starting on interior next month. Had to do something during Covid, didn’t want to look back and regret not accomplishing anything during the lockdown.
Welcome to the 1-ton club!! Looks great! Keep up the good work!

When hot weather comes I think if you work the truck hard, the electric fan won't cut the mustard. I've been down that road and ended up with a 6-blade mechanical fan and the electric as a backup. The electric only comes on after I shut it down after a hard pull but it's left over from my experiments so I didn't take it off.

Great job! I have that same chair in the before pic. Any chance you can post some pictures with the hood up? I'd like to see your engine and radiator set up.
Sorry no pic of the radiator and fan but I put on the largest pusher fan I could get. I’m not planning on going anywhere when it’s warm. My wife likes AC!
Post in the “Truck Parts Wanted” forum for your brackets and you might get lucky!

I had to build my rear bumper brackets as my truck didn’t have them either.

Mike 3334 Saw one of those a month ago with a lever dump tail gate like when the elevator would raise your truck by the front axle, We used to have those cable lifts at all elevators here. Tail gate trunnnions were at the top, Cool piece, beautiful job on your truck !!
