I have checked the online and hard copy manuals with no luck. I need to replace the bushings in the Brake and Clutch pedals. I have removed the clutch pedal and dowel pin and am now trying to remove the hollow rod that holds the brake pedal but it will not budge. We tried heating it up and driving it out with a hammer to no avail. We have an arbor press but I am afraid to bust the casting. Anyone have some words of wisdom?
Ok, I tried from the opposite side and was able to get the rod out. The rod has some ridges from wear. from the brake pedal. I'll see if the bushing will correct for that though I believe I will have to replace the rod.
Thanks
Patrick
