Two weeks ago I attended a Christmas fair in Kenansville, Fl. There were tens and tens of people there, just the right size. Anyway a fellow older than me that is working on my favorite saddle has a 54 -3100. Nice shape, the former owner had it slammed down with a bunch of chrome trash on it. I'm not good at reading serial numbers yet. Here is his ( H54K 02215 8), Any ideas? He has managed to bring it up to stock condition but, has a question on original color. He said it is either a light blue or yellow. Doc.

I thought the K meant it was assembled in Kansas City. Mine also had a K.

Sorry. K does mean Kansas City. And I knew that, but forgot. I was thinking about the earlier s/n system.
