Hi guys, is there an dually axle beside the dana60 or 70 that is the same size (width) and 10bolt hub that will work with my truck? Reason I am asking is I want to try to go 3:23 or so on the rear ratio. Thanks.

Modern rear Dana 70 and 80 will bolt right in, be faced with disc brakes on many, 5.250” hub diameter, modern 19.5” wheels approximate original diameter, many modern ratios available.

Matching front disc. Brake axles avail.

While you may find a rear that will swap in easily that is 10 lug,
The front axle swap will be the difficult part. If you don’t swap both, you’ll have to run different rims front vs rear. And the front axle will be too wide for your 38, you’ll have to find someone to narrow it unless you want the tires sticking out past the fenders.

The only 10 lug axles such as those I know would be the f450 and Chevy 3500HD from
The mid 90s. But again, if you swap only the rear, you’ll
Have different bolt patterns. If there is an easy solution, many of us haven’t found it yet.

Tony,

The GMC 3500 HD front axle I got for my ‘55 is about 80” from wms to wms, so I will have to use the spindles only. I used a front axle from. P-3500 HD on my ‘37 T-18HD, although since the fenders and running boards are not connected to the cab, I spaced those out 1.5” and they fit fine.
