Hi all, i have a 1958 viking 60. Im looking for the axle nut socket for the rear end, 2 ton chevrolet corporate 2 spd rear. Thanks!!
THE BLACK VIKING 1958 Viking 60 ~ my new toy hauler My Current fleet: 1954 chevy 3800, 1953/4 gmc 450 coleman 4x4, 1956 chevy pickup, 1958 Viking 60 Keep 'em rollin fellas!
My trick was to use a short pipe nipple and weld pieces of 1/4" key stock onto it to fit the slots in the nut. Either drill a hole in the pipe for a long punch as a handle, or just use a pipe wrench. Jerry

Measure the diameter of the nut, head down to the hardware store and grab a hole saw bit the same size. I ground down a 3.5" bit and notched it out to match the nut on my 67 c50 15klb 2 speed rear. Worked like a charm.
Hold the bit down flat against a 4.5" angle grinder disc to get rid of the teeth and then notch from there.
Edit: Be safe and use a buddy to hold the grinder while you hold the bit! Safety glasses gloves etc
