Does anyone have recommendations on finding a replacement or upgrading to something like a Chevy S 10. Thanks, Scott | | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,097 | "Something like a Chevy S 10" is going to have a 5 lug wheel bolt pattern (unless it's from a 4x4) and require an open driveline which means a different transmission. There should be a lot of the closed drive line rear ends available from guys that made conversions. Fred

Replacement parts might be available. You could "upgrade" to a 3.55 Ring & Pinion set (from your 4.11) - check the Tech Tips, if you are interested.
And/or post a want ad in the Swap Meet for needed replacement parts. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 1,451 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2011 Posts: 1,451 | "Something like a Chevy S 10" is going to have a 5 lug wheel bolt pattern (unless it's from a 4x4) . Fred All S10 had 5 lug wheels

The axel with is 58.5 inches and was standard with rear disc brakes.
