I have one of those dropped axles that Speedway sells. I have planned on running it along with the Posi springs. I am just wondering how much the Posi springs lowered your truck and how it rides.

Also, I am planning on running the lowered springs that Speedway sells for the rear. Does anyone know how those work?

Can't answer your question, but seeing as we are both around SF, I would love to see that dropped axle. Do you still have the original i-beam axle?

Yep, I have the original, just got one actually. I had put a Camaro clip on my truck about ten years ago. Never finished the truck, it has been stored in my yard since the clip. frown But lately I got the hankeren to get it out on the road again. I swapped the Camaro clipped frame for a stocker. The dropped axle I have is actually for a 55-59 which I plan on narrowing to fit the 47-54. It is really a nice piece, tube center with CNC milled steel ends. I bought it at the Pleasanton swapmeet for a REAL good price so I couldn't pass it up.

I have been calling Speedway and the 47-54 still isn't available anyway. One day it may be, but in the mean time I plan on narrowing this one.
