Hey guys so after doing a ton of reading on here I like the idea of the p30 front axle upgrades.as my axle needs to new brakes and king pins anyway. Would love to hear anyone’s suscess stories on this upgrade. Or as anyone had a tube axle made using more modern components. On that comes to mind is the Ford super duty 2wd use the ends and shorten the tube in the middle.looking into all options at the moment thanks.
Hy Mike t, F@#d parts on a Chevrolet, I'm afraid that is blasphemy in my book!
Besides that, Superduty 2WD axles aren't tube type. They're forged axles that pivot on opposite side of the frame with radius arms pivoted behind the axles.

That’s exactly what I had in mind I feel as if it be an easier platform To modify there would obviously be some issue hooking up to steering box just a thought. Around me they are easier to find in junk yards then p30 stuff
Your thinking the f350s and down f450 and 550 2wd are tube axle to my knowledge
You are correct. F250-F350 2WD are I beam IFS. Larger are single beam axles like your pics.
