What suggestions does everyone have to help level the clear coat? I recently had to do a repair and learned how to blend clear coat to eliminate getting the halo affect. I used a blender spray in an aerosol can. I noticed how it also helped to level the clear also. I've read where some guys will use a heavily reduced clear as a softener and blender. So I got to thinking could a heavily reduced clear be used as a final coat on a complete vehicle paint to help level the final coat overall? My clear coating is getting better but I still get more orange peel than I like and results in more cut and buff work than I care to have to do every time. Thoughts?
