hi fellas, my truck is a 1958 viking 60, im looking for a part # for new wheel cylinders for the front brakes, which are 7/8" bore, the numbers cast into the wheel cylinders are: 6454 & 385, they appear to be a twinplex style wheel cylinder. i have found the rear wheel cylinders now i just need the fronts as mine are frozen solid. also if anyone knows the part # for new inner & outer wheel bearings that would be great!
next i have the 2 speed corporate chevy rear end. does anyone know where i can get a full seal/gasket rebuild kit for it? i want to make sure it doesnt leak into my brake drums and ruin the shoes and fix a few leaks. thanks!!!

Hy BlackViking60, unfortunately the original wheel cylinder design of the front wheel cylinders for your truck are no longer being produced. We found this out a few years ago, the solution I suggested was to substitute front wheel cylinders designed for 1960 through 65 60 series. The only difference in the newer wheel cylinder is the brake hose enters the wheel cylinder at an angle rather than straight into the back as was the originals design. A few people from Stovebolt have made this conversion with no problem. The Raybestos part numbers for the newer front wheel cylinders are WC19090 for the left and WC 19091 for the right. Those wheel cylinders are available from RockAuto for $22.70 each. As to wheel bearings, you did not specify front or rear wheel bearings, but here are some part numbers for the front wheel bearings through RockAuto, some bearings are out of stock by different manufactures, SKF inner part number BR25583 $46.79 for the cone, SKF p/n BR25519 $21.79 for the cup, SKF outer p/n 15103S $14.98 for the cone, BCA p/n NB15243 $6.21 for the cup. Axle gaskets, there are only basically two other than the axle end gaskets. The differential mounting gasket is a thin one almost like a shim the part number is FelPro RDS12514 $.038 at RockAuto, the cover gasket is FelPro p/n RDS5178 but RockAuto has no record of it. Hope that information helps.

HI 3b, thank you very much for all that information!!! that is 99% of what i was looking for. my apologies for not stating front or rear as far as wheelbearings, i was looking for the front though. for the rear end i was looking for pretty much all the seals, so that would be axle seals (end gaskets as you called them) as well so i dont ruin my soon to be relined brake shoes. but if you have the rear axle bearing part numbers those will come in handy too im sure of it. again thank you very much! and i will try the c60 wheel cylinders like you had said mine are frozen solid trying to beat the cold and get this truck up and running like new again!

Hy BlackViking60, the standard front axle and heavy duty front axle use different gaskets, so a picture would be helpful. I have already tried crossing the standard axle gasket at the Napa site and there was nothing there. Just to be on the safe side could you give me the dimensions I.D., O. D., and number and size of holes. In this day and age most people would just lay a thin bead of silicone close to the O.D. and bolt the cap on and trim the excess when the silicone sets.
Ill grab some photos and measurements today! Thank you!!

Hy BlackViking60, the o.e.m. p/n for the standard axle hub cap gasket is 3650732, that did not cross at Napa's site, a search of my FelPro catalogue did not bring up a match in their illustrated section either. Sorry I can't find them for you.

Thats okay! I found that the gasket stuck to the hub cover, on the side that was "missing" so i still have both gaskets. I was worried i lose one when i sent the hub/drum out to be machined. If i can dig up anything on that p# ill be sure to get back to you on it. Thank you so much! Youve been an invaluable help!!
