The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks '61 Apache Windshield Washer Reservoir

I was recently troubleshooting a circuit at the bulkhead connector, and I decided to remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir for easier access. I discovered that a previous owner had simply ran a self-tapping screw through the back of the plastic jug, and into the firewall. With the reservoir removed, I could see that there is supposed to be a bracket to correctly hold the reservoir.

What I have is a plastic container, which looks like the one listed for 1962-1972. The bracket for that item doesn't match the threaded holes in my firewall. The two vertical holes look like the photos of a glass bottle and bracket, but that arrangement doesn't conform to the worn spot on the firewall. The shop manual is not helpful, so I tried google for photos with no luck.

Does anyone know what components I'm supposed to have?
