Early Dodge military vehicles had the "commercial" front grille. It appears to be what was referred to as a "command car" which was an open vehicle. The front doors have been modified but there is a cut out panel on the side for a rear opening. It also appears to have a front differential. Even though it is modified, I'm sure the military collectors would go nuts over it. Fred
