From fuel tank to pump or pump to carburetor?
My suggestion (worked for me) take line to local shop, have them bend/ make a new one. I've had Zero problems with mine. Both "hard" lines I had done.

Well that's frustrating. Think you're referring to the short rubber line that connects the petcock valve to the hard line. I ordered one from LMC. No problems with it. Use the least amount of rubber hose as possible and carry hose and clamps with you. Can you post a part number and vendor for the "swivel coupling"?

The reason is not the swivel. It is the composition of the rubber which melts from today's 10% ethanol gas formulation.

They even put a small ridge around rubber hose end towards pump. I do not like swivels, bartomas is right on his statement. The best shut off valve is the original type at the tank. Doc.

Run metal line down and out. Short piece of rubber to the frame, back to metal tubing down the frame rail, short piece of rubber to fuel pump. Click.That's a cool guy move.
