It has been a while since I was able to do anything on the 40 1 1/2 ton. I have an extra differential. I pulled the external cover off of the shaft. There are two pins through the coupler that are bradded on both sides. I ground the heads off of one side and proceeded to knock them through with a hammer and drift. No movement. Are they tapered? Maybe I need to grind the heads from the other side and knock them out. The fixed driveshaft makes it a pain to move the thing around.

Thanks

Harmon

I have answered my own question. Grind off the heads and drive them home. It may be a bit easier if I would have had access to my torch. Oh well.
