about 3years ago I stumbled on to this blog and a 41 chevy truck that the wife and I call Ella, we were searching for something closer to the 3100's 49/54 s. but kept coming back to Ella. besides not being in running condition it was yellow. like most we planned a two toned paint job but yellow and ? after purchasing and getting her home to find wheels totally locked up and parts missing from the trans, we quickly found a need for divine intervention. (Stovebolt and it's bloggers). from what's a clutch head bolt to how to change the gears in my rear .(Kip41) I find there are things I thought I could just hook up some modern things and plug um in .wrong this ole skool truck requires parts you either hunt down , remake, or rebuild. I have finally found a set of rear shocks for Ella and now I am looking for some pics of the way they hook onto the axle, I believe I see where they fasten to the chassis , would love to see some pictures of how they fasten up to the axle. Sadly I belive the front need to be rebuilt and shall have to take them to my neighbor hood machine specialist ,they are ole skool tractor guys ,So if any of you guys have pics of your trucks with the beds off that clearly show how the 2 stage shocks hookup , please post a few , thanks in advance ,Ole skool for an ole fool.ps If in some way I hacked up someone elses post it again was truly by accident.
