I lifted the truck up and and put the truck in gear to see what happens. One the drivers side spins. the other side just jumps a tiny bit when i first let out the clutch... other wise stays still. i would think the other side should spin in reverse on this. junk rear end in my truck?

Sounds like an open diff. They can spin either side equally or at different rates.

i have not tried to let the clutch out on the ground yet. no brakes at this time. The drivers side spins in neutral really easy. the passenger side is pretty tight. i can spin it my hand but it not easy.

Are the brakes dragging on the passenger side?

i dont think its brakes. if i can turn it over by hand ( even if its hard) i would think the engine power would for sure move that tire

Brake is tight on the passenger side, the driver side spins with the engine running due to the wheel with the least resistance , sounds like the differential is working ok. Time to pull the drums.
