We are in the planning stage for the KC Stovebolt Reunion and the thought of Stovebolt decals came up.
They would be either 4x4 inches or 6x6 inches with the standard Stovebolt logo.

I thought if there would be any interest, I could ship some east to one person to distribute them.
Just let me know if there is an interest and who the ODSS lead would be.

Something about 4" long sounds good to me as I don't like real big decals on my rear windows.

4x2 seems pretty small. I'm thinking 5x2-1/2 or 6x3?

One thing I have done with stickers in the past is to mount them to magnetic sheet so you can take them on and off if you want. Obviously doesn't work on glass but some don't like permanent stickers anywhere.
Don, I am still too far in the weeds right now to take the lead unfortunately ( I guess I should be happy to still be working but there I are time when I am not so sure....) but will be happy to pay in advance if that helps.

I understand how work can get in the way of fun, but that is part of life.
I'm not going to tackle mailing these out to everyone and will need someone in the ODSS to step up and take the lead for distribution.
I think this could be a hot item and I'm checking into the price with Shelley.
We are still talking about size and so far 2 x 5 inches seems to be the one.

More info to follow when I know something.

Maybe we need a better tag line to run beneath the log. I had originally gone with "Find it ... Fix it ... Drive it" But if we can come up with something better, I'm game.

I like it also, but seems to be a knock off of the "jeep thing". JMO

I think it should be related to GM products in general.

Something like "Chevy/GMC trucks, they just don't die".

That doesn't sound right, but we are just brainstorming here.

So throw some crappy ideas out there and one may hit the spot!
Or give someone else an idea. This is a team effort folks!

Refusal to perform this duty will be dealt with harshly by the ODSS officials and the Midwest contingency.

Then there is also the Canadian Division that will also get a say in the punishment.

I must remind you Master Roache, this is just a warning of what the ODSS is capable of when they don't get their decals!
I brought rain the first 3 years to the Homecoming, I dare not say the punishment the ODSS put me thru, will be harsher than the task of handing out a few decals.

Not to Hi jack this thread but... I would like to have a something like a business card, something that could be placed on the windshield of a truck you spot when your out and about. Just a thought????

Decal update.
The Stovebolt KC Reunion has be canceled.
But, when we get a decal design from John or one that he approves, I'll handle the main distribution center.
Then, whoever steps up to the plate, to distribute them among the ODSS, will take over the local distribution.
Winchester is coming up, hope that does not get canceled too.

Alrighty then. What do you think of this for t-shirts, decals, etc? The t-shirt version will need to be simplified some to save on printing costs, but I can work that out with Shelly. NOTE: This attached file is a PROOF, not a hirez for reproduction. Let me know who to send the high-rez files to and in what preferred format. I have it in .psd right now as a very high resolution Photoshop working file with all the layers, effects, etc editable so if someone like Shelly wants to adjust anything to suit the particular reproduction method/application (and knows how to use Photoshop ... Adobe Creative Cloud 2020 version) they can without spending time trying to explain to me what they want. As long as the final does not depart radically from this.

I don't see why not. I am not that familiar with that so you will have to explain what I need to do to the design for it to be ready for that.

Alright Don. I'm calling you out. Get those T-shirts and decals done. I EXPECT to be wearing one at the Tri-State show(and it will not get cancelled). I WILL DISTRIBUTE/COLLECT and RECOVER my funds. Just get them done and get back to me quick because they need to arrive here in VA in the next two weeks or you got to deliver them. I'll send you a check if necessary . Just get them here !! Let me know some details and we can make it happen. 2 shirts and 2 decals for me.

Decals are close to being ordered, waiting on John for the final approval. Hope to have them late next week and get them to you on time for the show.

T-shirts are out of my hands though. Our shirt person needs about two weeks lead to get them done and shipped.
So unless you can get the shirt design, take orders for shirt sizes, and make the order ASAP, you will not make the Tri State.
But those shirts are timeless and would sell at any Stovebolt event in the future.

Hardshell will be the distributor at the Tri State show. He already told me he wants 50 of them.
Total actual cost so far is <$1.50 each.
I figure ask an even $2 bucks each or 3 for $5 bucks, to make it simple and any excess profit will go to the support the Stovebolt cause.
