I spent a long time squinched on the floor on my back trying to figure out the mechanics and linkages involved....and installed some 'homemade' shims to tighten the loose linkage rods, or whatever they are called....one was so loose that it was catching one of the fresh air vent cables as it came around. Also, the electric motor has peculiar habits which may actually be normal (when I turn the switch on, there is a long pause as if the motor is resetting or thinking :(, and then it suddenly starts). Also, the passenger wiper arm, no matter how i adjust it on the spindle, tends to fling too far to the right, actually leaving the windshield briefly. All of this makes me wish for at least a paragraph or two about the wiper system. Is there any printed info on the wiper system (58 Spartan 80) and what guidance can you offer?....thanks, as always!
