I need to replace them, but with 2 wheel cylinders on each of rear wheels, I'm not sure how to do it. Does anyone have a diagram? I plan to use a dual cylinder master that I already have. Also, will it matter what order you bleed the brake slave cylinders, other than start with the furthest and move toward the master?

I would not go smaller on the bore than the bore of the original master cylinder. Depending on whether your truck has Bendix or Wagner brakes, the connection at the rear wheel backing plate will be different. Yes there is a specific order to bleed the braking system with a Hydravac. Do you plan on installing two Hydravac's, one for each braking circuit, or will you install a vacuum booster in front of your new master cylinder? | | | | | Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 338 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 338 | I talked to a man at the last reunion about the dual chamber master and ordered what he suggested. I am going to use a booster and remove the hydrovac. The truck has Huck brakes. I sent pictures when I first got the truck and others here confirmed they are Huck brakes.

Kent | | | | | Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 338 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 338 | I posted a picture here several months ago and was told that these are Huck brakes. One of the people said I would find I needed 2 wheel cylinders for each of the rear hubs. Officially, Huck brakes ended witht the 1950 model, butI found out that due to extra parts being available, some 2 ton models had Huck brakes as late as 1953, though very few. I never looked at the rear wheels until now and there is only 1 brake line going in to each of the rear wheels. I haven't opened them yet, but I assume that means only one wheel cylinder.
