Trying to learn more on my Spicer PTO, more importantly on what it fits.

I believe it's a 2-Speed. Tag states Spicer by Dana Corp GCE6-14

Edit: Tried to post pictures, but it would not co-operate.

I made it through Step #1 last night with no problem. The problem was "File too Large". Now what, lol. Tiny helped me at the IT Forum and suggested irfanview for resizing them. After locating it, downloading it, figuring out how to use it and about 45 minutes later, I had them all reduced. I saved them and then couldn't find them. Finally found them in my picture files, right next to the originals I took. Went back to attach the resized pictures and the originals showed up again, but not the resized pictures. Could not get them to produced. I then decided to try the "Insert Image Link" above. Didn't work. That's when I gave up, lol.

You will have to put your resized photos into their own separate photo folder. What device are you using to take photos?

Where did you get the PTO? Those that hold the old PTO books are few and far between.
A start would be numbers stamped on it.

I've had it for years. It came with my '67 GMC 7500 although I'm not sure it would had fit it. I provided the numbers in my original post, but here they are again:

Yes, you can set your digital camera for smaller images to begin with. Reduce the resolution to reduce the size in the original image when you take the picture. I have my camera set for lower resolution all the time. If I want some special picture, I reset to higher resolution.

The '67 could have come with a 420 or 465, 420's were phasing out and 465's were phasing in. Enclosed are pictures of one I took off a 420, notice cast in numbers, no stamped numbers, Chelsea.

My '67 7500 had a 5-Speed Clark, but just to make it a little more clear, I got the PTO with the truck deal (already out). I don't believe it would had fit the Clark trans, but I never tried it. With the original plans to make a flatbed dump out of it, I put a box body on it instead and sold it soon after.

I do have a '68 and a '72 C-30 though. I believe they both have 465 4-Speeds. One has a PTO on it but I believe it's an aftermarket. Once I restore the truck, I'll find out for sure.

In the meantime, I'll try again on pictures of my Spicer. As time allows, lol.

Appreciate the replies so far.
