Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 39 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2007 Posts: 39 | I foolishly threw away all of the springs out of my 1954 3600 brakes because I ordered new hardware kits, front and rear. Of course, the new hardware kits are missing the spring that goes over top of the star wheel adjusters. Does anyone know of a source for them?
Or, does anyone have any experience converting them with self-adjusting hardware out of a later truck?
It's the Eaton HO52 axle with the 12" by 2" brakes front and rear.
Thanks

Don't ever throw away old parts!
