I foolishly threw away all of the springs out of my 1954 3600 brakes because I ordered new hardware kits, front and rear. Of course, the new hardware kits are missing the spring that goes over top of the star wheel adjusters. Does anyone know of a source for them?

Or, does anyone have any experience converting them with self-adjusting hardware out of a later truck?

It's the Eaton HO52 axle with the 12" by 2" brakes front and rear.

Thanks

Rob

One of our members was kind enough to look up the original GM part number which was 1416760. Apparently that crosses to Napa UP 80518 so hopefully my problem is solved.

Don't ever throw away old parts!

Rob
