Can anybody tell me how to remove the crankcase oil vent tube. This is on a 49 216. I unbolted the clamp attached to the pan but I cant budge the main body of the vent. Is this a friction fit or is there some other means of attachment? Appreciate any help.

It's friction, try tapping it in a little way to loosen the rust and then pull it out.

There should be an O-ring seal between the tube and the block. Like 4onthefloor said, move it around and it should pull straight out.
