Both are long beds. This stay at home is playing with my mind because i change my direction of how i'm going to proceed daily!!!!!!!! Well, i've now come across a 54 Chevy 100 short bed project (2 actually) that is probably 70 % complete and done decently with me being able to finish it. I don't know much about the 54. I've looked at some pics and I'm throwing out to you guys and gals for any input you have pros/cons/personal preference of either. The price is pretty decent and then he throws in the fact he might be interested in a trade

How much further ahead will buying the 3100 put you with your end goal (you didn't say how complete your GMC's were)? Mike B

Otherwise you risk becoming one of those nuts who has a yard full of old vehicles and never finishes any of them.

Is it a USA Chevrolet 3100 (3104 for pickup)
Or, is it a GMC or Canadian Chevrolet?
What engine does it have in it?
The engine serial number is pressed into the ledge in the block at the rear of the distributor. | | |
