I read the article. It was very easy to put the hinge together. I had put it together once this way but i could not get in in the door post. Can almost get it in by opening the hinge to the overcenter point, but will not go. I must be doing something wrong. Any suggestions.

I had issues getting mine out. Wound up using the brute force method recommended by others here. The opening will get scarred up driving them in, but the saving grace is that the hinge flange covers that up.

The hinge went in very easy. It just took acouple of blows with the heel of my hand to get the right side in. Thanks for the information.
