Need help identifying this brake linkage setup and the ability to go to a dual bowl setup. This is allegedly a 47 1 ton 3800 frame but I can’t find any documentation that shows this linkage setup.
I really want to go to a dual bowl setup but just not sure what’s possible here.
Hy Chris Mckenna, welcome, your pictures show the typical "pull type" linkage of the heavier trucks of the era. I'm sure we could come up with a dual master cylinder setup that would work, but I do not think there is sufficient room there for a booster. If you were to move the pivot point arm farther to the rear of the chassis and extend the pull rod to reach it I'm pretty sure you could install a boosted dual master cylinder system there, hope that helps.
