Kinda like the look of the original hood better.

Any idea what a hood like this is worth?

depending on condition 100 and up,early hoods are not reproduced and the turn signals pods are one year only design, yours appears to be 1960...1961 has a cross design,i would save for next truck

Original hood will be the better choice. They are worth about $350-$450. IF not rusted/dented. Very hard to find. Yours looks good. They are way too expensive to ship. This holds the price down because it needs a near local buyer.

I like the look of the original hood as well. But I am also partial to the later model hoods.

Another quality post.

Just to be clear, the hood on the 63 is correct for 1962 - 66. The one in the back is correct 1960 & 61 other than park lamp housings. I believe the hood latch is different between them but would have to check.

Yes, AS BC59 says, the truck is a 1963 and has the correct hood on it in the pic. That Jet intake, Cat Eye hood shown in the pick up bed, is very rare and valuable to the right person. It has 1960 signal inserts but same hood as 1961 .
As said, the 60-61 hood is not reproduced.
